Scholarships and other financial support

Scholarships for residents and postgraduate students of FSBI “NMRC RB” of the Ministry of Health of Russia are provided in accordance with current legislation and the Regulation on scholarships for students of FSBI “NMRC RB”:
  • Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1390 of 17.12.2016 "On the formation of the scholarship fund";
  • Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 1663 of 27.12.2016 "On Approval of the Procedure for granting state academic scholarships and (or) state social scholarships to students studying full-time at the expense of federal budget allocations, state scholarships to graduate students, residents, internship assistants studying full-time at the expense of federal budget allocations, payment of scholarships students attending preparatory departments at federal state educational institutions of higher education, studying at the expense of budgetary allocations from the federal budget";
  • Regulation on scholarship schemes for students enrolled in higher education programmes in FSBI “NMRC RB” of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
State scholarship to postgraduate students, residents, studying on a full-time basis using budgetary allocations from the federal budget, is awarded depending on the degree of successful completion of postgraduate programmes for academic, academic and teaching staff, residency programmes based on the results of interim certification in accordance with the academic timetable from the first day of the month following the month of its completion.

A resident or a postgraduate student who is awarded a state scholarship must meet the following requirements:
  • no "satisfactory" grade based on the results of the interim assessment
  • no academic failures
Between the beginning of the academic year and the month of the first interim assessment in accordance with the academic timetable, state scholarships are paid to all postgraduate students and first-year residents attending full-time courses at the expense of budgetary allocations from the federal budget.

There are also additional state scholarships for postgraduate students: Scholarship of the President of the Russian Federation, Scholarship of the Government of the Russian Federation, individual state scholarships
