The education center
The education center of FSBI “NMRC RB” of the Ministry of Health of Russia was established in April 2018 and carries out educational activities in the field of higher and additional professional education under the license of the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science series 90ЛО1 No. 009723, issued on 04 September 2017 (registration No. 2631), and the certificate of state accreditation series 90A01 No.0003062 of 17 October 2018 (registration No. 2917).
Main areas of activity of the Education center of FSBI “NMRC RB” of the Ministry of Health of Russia
The structure of the Education Centre includes:
- Curriculum & Instruction Department
- Department of restorative medicine, physical therapy and medical rehabilitation
- Department for the management of health care and sanatorium and spa operation
- Methodological accreditation and simulation centre
- Library
Research and education centre offers:
- Training of specialists with higher education under programmes for the training of specialists of the highest qualification (residency) in the specialties: "Physiotherapy", "Exercise therapy and sports medicine", "Neurology", "Manual therapy";
- Training of specialists with higher education under the educational programme of higher education - postgraduate programme of research and research and teaching staff and admission of persons who prepare a PhD thesis without mastering the postgraduate programme of research and research and teaching staff in scientific specialty 3.1.33 "Restorative medicine, sports medicine, exercise therapy, balneology and physiotherapy" (medical sciences, biological sciences);
- Training of specialists with higher medical education under additional programmes of professional retraining and further training in the following areas: "Physiotherapy", "Exercise therapy and sports medicine", "Manual therapy", "Physical and rehabilitation medicine", "Management of health care and public health", "Reflexotherapy";
- Training of specialists with secondary medical education under additional further training programmes in the following areas: "Exercise therapy", "Medical massage", "Physiotherapy";
- Further training for the teaching staff of the profile departments;
- Organization of research to practice events using telemedicine technologies (in the form of webinars) in the field of sanatorium and spa treatment;
- Primary specialized accreditation of specialists in the following specialities: "Physiotherapy", "Exercise therapy and sports medicine", "Manual therapy", "Reflexotherapy", "Physical and rehabilitation medicine";
- Provision of the educational process with educational and methodological resources in accordance with educational programmes, assistance in selecting materials on thematic requests, and the digitization of rare editions from the library collection;
- Identification of the most significant and promising scientific and practical and socially important developments of students and young scientists in the field of medical rehabilitation and sanatorium and spa treatment, as well as increasing the prestige of this area of research among young people.

Dissertation council
FBSI "NMRC RB" of the Ministry of Health of Russia has a dissertation council, which has the authority to award the degree of candidate and doctor of sciences in specialty 3.1.33 (14.03.11) - restorative medicine, sports medicine, exercise therapy, balneology and physiotherapy, in the medical and biological branches of science.
