Main areas of research activities

• development of methodology of combined and complex application of physiotherapy and reflexotherapy methods for the implementation of personalized rehabilitation programmes and non-drug treatment of patients with different clinical profiles;
• clinical trials of new physiotherapeutic devices, balneotherapy and reflexology equipment to prove their effectiveness and safety;
• study of new sides of the mechanism of action of drinking mineral waters, expansion of indications for drinking treatment, development of new technologies of drinking treatment for correction of metabolic conditions;
• development of automated information systems for medical and meteorological forecasting, continuous monitoring of weather and climatic conditions to determine the risk of weather-related exacerbations. Identification and evaluation of the nature of meteopathic reactions in patients with the most common non-infectious diseases and development of methods for their prevention;
• drafting clinical recommendations and other methodological documents on aspects of the use of physiotherapy and reflexology methods in practical health care.

1. Development of methodology of differentiated local application of active agents (medicines, medical ozone, essential oils) for therapeutic and rehabilitation purposes and sanatorium and spa conditions in lumbosacral dorsopathies
2. Development of innovative technology and scientific justification of application of the complex rehabilitation programme for oncological patients with peripheral polyneuropathy induced by chemotherapy
3. Development and scientific justification of the application of personalized programmes of medical rehabilitation of patients with post-thrombotic syndrome of the lower limbs using natural and preformed physical factors
