Registration without completing postgraduate training programmes for academic and teaching staff

Registration of candidates for preparation of PhD thesis in speciality 3.1.33 “Restorative medicine, sports medicine, exercise therapy, balneology and physiotherapy” (medical/biological sciences) without completing postgraduate training programmes for academic and teaching staff is available in FSBI “NMRC RB” of the Ministry of Health of Russia for a period of not more than 3 years.

The following documents shall be enclosed with the application for admission: (application form)
  • a copy of the candidate’s identity document;
  • a copy of the professional diploma or master's degree held by the candidate and its appendices (for foreign nationals, the latter if available) (a person who has education received in a foreign state shall additionally submit a copy of a document certifying recognition in the Russian Federation of education received in a foreign state, presenting the same academic and/or professional rights as holders of higher education received in the Russian Federation, except for cases when higher education received in a foreign state is covered by international treaties on mutual recognition or was received in a foreign educational institution included in the list compiled by the Government of the Russian Federation);
  • a copy of the document confirming the completion of the residency/internship;
  • copy of a valid specialist certificate or a certificate of the primary specialized accreditation;
  • a list (in Russian) of published (including those in co-authorship) research papers and (or) utility model patents (certificates) obtained, registered in the prescribed manner, signed by the applicant (if any);
  • if there are copies of documents certifying the applicant's individual achievements, the results of which can be taken into account by the admissions board (copies of certificates of winners of regional, national and international competitions; copies of documents on the receipt of grants);
  • a consent of the scientific supervisor to supervise the thesis (Doctor Habil.);
  • reference (recommendation) from place of (if available);
  • a petition from the scientific supervisor (if available);
  • a copy of work record book;
  • personal history statement;
  • personal data sheet;
  • 2 photos (3х4 cm).
