The Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical Research Center of Rehabilitation and Balneology” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is a specialized medical institution that provides medical assistance for medical rehabilitation and spa treatment, develops, implements, methodologically support and practical applications of the latest medical technologies in the field of medical rehabilitation and spa treatment.

Nervous system diseases
Nowadays, the use of physiotherapy methods in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with various diseases allows to improve the clinical condition of patients significantly, get pronounced painkilling, anti-inflammatory, anti-stress, anti-stress effects by the methods of physiotherapy combined with drug therapy, therapeutic exercise and massage.
Diseases of the bone-muscle system and connective tissue
Physical Therapy (LFC) is a scientific, practical, medical-educational discipline that studies the basics and methods of using physical education for the treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of various diseases.
Circulatory system diseases
Robotic mechanotherapy is an innovative method of rehabilitation of patients with various diseases of the central nervous system and movement and support organs, which uses the latest restorative devices that allows patients to return to normal life and prevent disability.
Respiratory diseases
Manual therapy - methods of treatment and diagnosis, which are the impact of the therapist’s hands on the patient's body. The methods are aimed mainly at the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system manifested in the form of functional joint blockages, hypermobility and regional postural imbalance of muscles, and internal organs.
Endocrine system diseases, eating disorders and metabolic disorders
Mud treatment is widely used in resort medicine. The Center's Balneotherapy Department uses classic mud poultice application methods. Today, the treatment and prevention programs use highly mineralised muds from Lake Medvezhiye.
Digestive diseases
Sodium chloride is the most common mineral water in nature. Sodium Chloride baths act by settling mineral salt on the skin and forming the so-called salt cloak on it.
Diseases of the genitourinary system
Weak ionizing radiation and microclimate features of the sivinotic speleochamber, therapeutic environment provide increased aeroionization, temporary elimination of allergens, helps to reduce bronchial reactivity, normalize mucocylyary transport, improve drainage function of bronchus and eliminate immunological disorders.

The objectives of the independent assessment of the quality of services provided by medical institutions are:
- To inform citizens about the quality of the conditions of service delivered by medical institutions;
- To improve the quality of operations of medical institutions.
The independent assessment of the quality is carried out in medical institutions participating in the programme of state guarantees of free medical care for citizens.
The assessment criteria are as follows:
- openness and accessibility of information about the health care provider;
- comfortable conditions for the provision of health services and their accessibility;
- waiting period needed for the provision of medical services;
- friendliness, politeness and competence of the staff of the medical institution;
- satisfaction with the services provided.

FSBI “NMRC RB” of the Ministry of Health of Russia does not have parking spaces for patients.
Parking spaces for the disabled are available in the surface car park in Novinsky Lane and in nearby paid car parks.
You must have a disabled person's parking permit issued through the Federal Disability Register, a disabled person's sign and a disability certificate from the Medical and Social Expertise (Expert Examination of Labour Capacity).
Free parking permits may be issued for a vehicle driven by or carrying a disabled person in group 1 or 2, including a disabled child. Free parking is also available to persons with a group 3 disability, whose ability to move about independently is limited.
Smoking tobacco and the consumption of nicotine-containing products is prohibited on the premises of the FSBI "NMRC RB" of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
