Dear patients!

On behalf of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology" of the Russian Ministry of Health, we invite you to cooperate and inform you of the opportunity, starting from January 18, 2022, to receive a comprehensive examination and rehabilitation treatment within the framework of research on the Government Order "Use of video analysis in studying the mechanisms of motor pattern restoration in patients who have suffered a stroke, in combination with robotic measures.

The aim of the study is to introduce modern diagnostic and treatment methods in rehabilitation into clinical practice.
All studies and treatment are free of charge.
Patients who are ready to undergo examination and treatment are invited to sign voluntary informed consent to participate in the scientific study and shall meet the following clinical criteria:
  • Patients between the ages of 45 and 70 who have suffered an ischemic stroke, a stroke of no more than 3 years;
  • The ability to self-service and travel;
  • Absence of mental illnesses, brain tumors, arteriovenous malformations and aneurysm, neurodegenerative diseases;
  • No seizures and their equivalents in history;
  • No pronounced pulmonary and heart failure;
  • No infectious diseases;
  • Lack of cancer.

The number of people scheduled to be included in the study is limited.

Please, note that in accordance with the conditions of the scientific study if a volunteer, who applies doesn’t meet the criteria for inclusion and/or if they have non-inclusion criteria, no further diagnostic procedures would be performed.

The duration of examination and treatment in inpatient conditions of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “National Medical Research Center of Rehabilitation and Balneology” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation is 18 days.

Expert advice:
  • Initial consultation, examination, professional medical advice of the neurologist. Daily management of the patient by the neurologist
  • Initial consultation, examination, professional medical advice of the logopaedist
  • Initial consultation of the general physician
  • Initial consultation of the cardiologist
  • Initial consultation of the endocrinologist
  • Initial consultation of the doctor in exercise therapy
  • Initial consultation of the physiotherapist
  • Initial consultation of the psychotherapist
  • Initial consultation of the medical psychologist

Laboratory research methods:
  • Identification of antibodies to pale treponema (Treponema pallidum) in the blood
  • Definition of hepatitis B virus (HBsAg) virus (Hepatitis B virus) in the blood, qualitative study
  • Definition of total M and G class antibodies (anti-HCV IgG and anti- HCV IgM) to hepatitis C virus (Hepatitis C virus) in the blood
  • General urine analysis with microscopy sediment
  • General Blood Test - SOE - leukocyte formula
  • Definition of Alaninaminotransferase (ALT)

  • Duplex scanning of brachiocephalic arteries with colored Doppler mapping of blood flow
  • Magnetic Resonance Therapy of the Brain
  • 3D video analysis of movements with dynamic myography
  • Cardiopulmonary load testing with the definition of gas exchange and the selection of physical activity

Specialized rehabilitation - neurorehabilitation:
  • Robotic mechanotherapy on an interactive neurosensory track with biofeedback under the specialist’s supervision
  • Mechanotherapy on a robotic complex with BFB for balance training
  • Mechanotherapy on BFB simulator complex for the upper limb to train muscle strength, muscle endurance and reduce spasticity
  • Cardio-training on individual parameters
  • Group physical exercises for cases of the central nervous system and brain diseases
  • Muscle stimulation (2 fields)
  • Common dry carbon baths
  • Two-chamber whirlpool foot baths
  • Two- chamber whirlpool hand baths

Procedures of referral for studies

Dear patients, we ask you to send your medical records to clinic.info@nmicrk.ru in order to record the examination. Be sure to provide your phone number, our specialist will contact you and check the date of admission, and an official confirmation will be sent to your email address from the Center indicating the date and time of admission.

It is not necessary to issue an official referral from the polyclinic in the place of residence to the Center.

  • Discharge epicrisis from the hospital for treatment of acute cerebral circulatory disorders
  • Absolute requirement: scanned documents (or photo in good quality) pages 2-3 and 5 of your passport, Individual insurance account number, Obligatory medical insurance policy policy
  • Description of MRI/CT of the brain with confirmed ischemic hearth
  • Neurologist’s examination after discharge from hospital
  • Available recent test results (blood tests, urine analysis, instrumental research methods)
  • Specialist consultations in the presence of concomitant chronic somatic pathology
